"My sister and I stayed for a week at The Tar Heel Motel. The no contactless check in and check out process was easy and convenient. The information sent to me was timely and easy to follow. The room was clean and well equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee pot. The AC was amazing. The Motel is conviently located at the quiet south end of town with a nice restaurant next door (within walking distance). Access to the beach was easy, and the pool was available and clean. Linens were changed out on our second day and offered for exchange each day. Parking was easy and convenient as well. My interaction with the office staff was pleasant and respectful when I did encounter them. The only drawback was the accessibility of electrical outlets and the location of them for phone charging. If the trip becomes an annual occurrence, I'll be making my reservation here again. Overall, a very nice stay. Rooms: The rooms were clean and well equipped. Nearby activities: Easy access to the main drag. Outlet shopping in close proximity. Thrift shopping easy to get to. Walkability: Within walking distance to the beach and shops. Food & drinks: Food and drink easily accessed from this location."
