If you don't feel like cooking breakfast/dinner or driving all around the OBX, a restaurant is a 30-second walk away. Checking in is an introverted/socially anxious person's dream. "This is a charming, cozy little motel! Other reviews about the outside with parking and lack of lighting are accurate but the room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable and I loved that there was a microwave, toaster oven and full size kitchen sink. The ac was amazing! You are just across the road from 2 public beach accesses and all the main road amenities are within close distance. I loved the keypad on the door! My only cons are very nitpicky. In the room I was in the toilet is very close to the vanity and I had to really crank the shower handle to get to the hot water (which there was plenty of and it fabulous). I honestly was afraid I would break it. I would definitely highly recommend to someone who wants a low key, chill, no fuss vibe. I would 💯 stay here again!"

"I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and beautifully decorated. It is right next door to my favorite breakfast spot, The Dunes Restaurant. The beach access is just steps away and the pool was refreshing and clean. I will book here again for sure! Nearby activities: The Outlets of Nags Head are directly behind the motel, Jockey's Ridge State Park is just a few miles up the road. Jeanette's Pier is less than a mile down from the Motel. A mile down the road is where you turn to go down toward the southern OBX toward the Bodie Lighthouse & Cape Hatteras. Kitty Hawk is only 6 miles up the road. It is a very good central location to all of the things the OBX has to offer!"
